The Moms All Pause.

Online Gatherings for When You're Tired of Being Tired
Picture
She is learning to be okay in the mess,
to breathe deep
despite the chaos,
declaring that it will not
overcome her.
For oh,
things have been so heavy lately,
but it has certainly
not defined her.

From All Along You Were Blooming:
Thoughts for Boundless Living

The Struggle is Real!

Let’s be honest and candid, shall we? (WARNING -- Don’t read further if you’re offended by colorful language.)

Life as a multitasking mom can feel like a relentless PRESSURE COOKER.  Day in and day out, you often find yourself struggling to balance kids, family, work and constant curveballs without succumbing to frustration and (God forbid) showing your ass.

And...that was before Covid!  Now we’ve added trying to keep loved ones safe during a pandemic, homeschooling, and navigating increased financial insecurity to an already challenging to do list.

In a nutshell, 2020 has truly been one WTF moment after the other. Yes, there have also been lots of opportunities for growth and learning through our challenges -- but we've all had to dig deep repeatedly to keep the faith and stay positive.

Not surprisingly, people are feeling overwhelmed, exhausted and at their wit’s end -- especially moms and those in mothering roles.

So...The Moms All Pause online gatherings are meant to provide some much needed relief for badass, loving moms who are doing their best to hold it all together during very trying times.

Goal

To provide a safe, supportive virtual space where participants can exhale, engage in 'real talk' to reclaim some peace of mind.  Every 2 weeks (starting November 14), you can pause for an hour or so to...

  • Give Yourself a Damn Break & Feel Encouraged
  • Express What’s REALLY On Your Heart & Mind
  • Find Comfort in Acknowledging When Sh*t Gets Hard
  • Embrace Your Own Needs Without Guilt or Fear of Being Judged
  • Tune Into Your Wise Self & What Gives You Joy
The time you take away from obligations...and even the people you love in order to soothe your own soul doesn’t require an apology.
~Jennifer Williamson
Schedule & Format

  • Biweekly online Zoom gatherings (60-75 minutes per session)
  • Every 2nd & 4th Saturday at 1pm EST/10am PST
  • Begins November 14, 2020

Led by Kara Coleman, a Certified Counselor, Coach & fellow tired ass mom, each interactive Zoom session will feature:
  • Soulful inspiration and guidance to help renew your spirit, energy, and peace of mind.
  • Time for self-reflection to get in touch with how you’re really doing AND gain clarity about how best to deal with whatever life brings your way.
  • Opportunities to share and authentically connect with others through facilitated discussion and affirming exercises.

Sources of Inspiration

Topics and exercises will draw from Kara’s experience as a trained parent group facilitator and mom as well as several of her favorite reads, including:
